Below are just a few before and after photos from some organizing jobs. The chaos to clarity with the items in our lives help bring chaos to clarity in our minds, too. How long does it take you to find something in your home? Over and over again we head to the closet just to open the door and sigh. Sound familiar? That sigh is the sign of stress. It’s stress because we immediately know we have to take time to look for the item.
Looking for things takes time out of each day and time is a hot commodity in this world. As it says on our organizing statistics page, 65% of people say their lives are very busy or insanely busy. We are so busy that we certainly don’t have extra time to look for things. This busy life we now live makes it hard to maintain organization if it doesn’t start out that way or isn’t set up that way. Women having shoes in a shoe rack were almost seven times more likely to be on time for their appointment. That alone is a good reason to have an organized closet!
When organizing a space, multiple things happen. Things get purged that you may have used on a daily basis, but no longer use. While sorting, like items go together so that you have all your choices available at first glance. Then, items get purged that are not cleanable, worn out, or broken. Finally, the space gets organized according to how often it’s used and other attributes.
Can you picture each space in your home organized? It feels so good, doesn’t it? In this busy life, we need to be able to open the door and find what we’re looking for immediately. We can help you create that organized home you dream of!
